I lost 50 pounds without exercising - but hit a plateau and after 4 or 5 months decided to start. It's been about 3 weeks and I have only lost 2 pounds since, but people are starting to notice a difference. I feel younger too - That's important at age 56, and have about 60 more pounds to go.
Even though I haven't lost weight lately, I will continue to exercise and eventually my muscle will start burning my fat. I guess I'm becoming more independent from my scale and learning to be content with becoming more healthy.
