I am here to talk through the weight loss and getting healthy process. I now have about 30 more pounds I want to lose, having lost the first 100. I started at the 100+ lbs. stage that I want to lose and as I am early in my forties and my daughter is in college, it is time to start this next phase of my life in a much more healthy manner. I was in great shape until I had my daughter and became much less active. As I got older it became harder and harder to be more active as physical constraints came about. My daughter now sees me in good shape and I wear the same size she does, though we have different shapes. I motivated her to lose weight and get healthier.

My Goals:
My drive exists because this journey is all about me. There isn't anyone else who can do this for me. It is finally my time and I want to live life to the fullest and that finally means making myself a priority and taking care of me.

You really have to decide that 1. you are worth it and 2. you are ready.

I am so ready to not let my health or my weight hold me back.

You can get there too! Your mind has to change before your body will follow!

My Program:
I am eating a lot less fat and my main goal is to drink water since I really don't like to.

I need to really do a lot more exercise because I have been slacking.

Personal Information:
The things you want are always possible; it is just that the way to get them is not always apparent. The only real obstacle in your path to a fulfilling life is you, and that can be a considerable obstacle because you carry the baggage of insecurities and past experience.

I need to find out how to work around tendonitis in both feet, carpal tunnel and extremely low B12 (thus energy) levels.

    Thanks for you comments - I am older than you but I can relate to your life. I really appreciate you sharing.

    I lost 50 pounds without exercising - but hit a plateau and after 4 or 5 months decided to start. It's been about 3 weeks and I have only lost 2 pounds since, but people are starting to notice a difference. I feel younger too - That's important at age 56, and have about 60 more pounds to go.

    Even though I haven't lost weight lately, I will continue to exercise and eventually my muscle will start burning my fat. I guess I'm becoming more independent from my scale and learning to be content with becoming more healthy.
