Rediscovering Me

My Program:
I am tracking all my food and exercise on Spark. I am aiming for 6 days a week of at least 30 minutes of vigorous exercise or 60 minutes of lower impact exercise. If I have the time I try to do both. I usually take Sundays off from exercise and allow myself a cheat meal each weekend to satisfy my cravings.

Personal Information:
I am 30 years old and 5'9" tall. I work as a development officer and finally finished my Masters degree last year. I enjoy gardening, any and all animals, and most of all, my 3 year old son.

Thank you so much for the friend add. :) Congratulations on your progress so far and best of luck on achieving your goals. As a single parent, I know how hard it can be to take the time to put yourself first.... but you are worth it and your son deserves a mom who feels good about herself and has the energy to keep up with him! I wish I would have figured this out years ago! :) Looking forward to getting to know you.

Hi Julie...thanks for adding me as a Spark friend! Reading your bio was like looking right in the mirror...I'm right there with you sister. The biggest difference for me this time is that I'm in no rush. Every other time that I've started a diet, I've wanted the extra 100 pounds off right away. Now, I'm taking every day one at a time and trying (really hard) to be patient. I'm so grateful to Spark People. Anyway, feel free to check in with me from time to time! Caryn
