I'm 34 years old, and while overall my health is fine, there are a few nagging problems that are due to my weight. First, of course, is back pain. Not much, but enough to make me angry, as I am on my feet for 12 hours a day, every day. Second is sleep apnea, and the resulting tiredness the next day. Third is the occasional carpal tunnel that comes over me while I'm trying to do my job. With some weight loss I know these will go away, because they have before!

My personal and work life makes it quite difficult to sneak in healthy food and exercise, but with some help I think I can do it!

My Goals:
**Be able to help my daughter with softball practice and the boys with baseball
**Run with my kiddos
**Get back to a healthy weight
**Learn how to feed myself and my family in a more healthy manner
**Work activity into my life
**Feel comfortable in my clothes by my 12th wedding anniversary

My Program:
*Tracking calories daily

*Strength training every other day

*Cardio at LEAST every other day; preferably every day

Personal Information:
I grew up in West Michigan, but I moved to central Ohio after graduating vet school, and to Columbus four years ago for work. As much as I miss everything back home, Columbus is an excellent town and I'm glad to have moved here.

Other Information:
We love hiking as a family, but with our schedules it gets tough. Our favorite places right now are the Columbus MetroParks, as they are diverse and easy to get to. As the boys get older, we will probably branch out further from home for these treks.
