Ok...so here is my deal. Years ago I found myself really overweight. I was in the 230's and miserable. I mean just miserable...whether the misery created the emotional eating for pleasure or the compulsively overeating created the misery....I have no idea.

So what then?

I started on a Healthy Lifestyle path.

I lost weight, started to exercise, joined society and never looked back.

Well...sorta.

I have never gotten past 158 that seems to be the point where I start to stumble and go back. What usually happens (and I should know, it's been going on for the last 2-3 years) is that I yo-yo about 10-15lbs. Over and over and over again. I fluctuate between around 170 USUALLYmy heaviest and breaking point(but recently I weighed in at 179!!) then I have made it back down to 158 then BAMN...My average weight is usually between 160 about 165.

I suffer from an Eating Disorder and am in treatment for that. I recently gained some of the weight when I stopped the Eating Disorder behavior.

I need to do something different. I need to do something that is going to break me past the 158 mark (which I have hit at least 3xs)

Help!?!?!

Eat smaller portions

Eat a variety of healthy foods

Become more physically active again.

Lose 30lbs.

Quit smoking.



My Program:
I'm giving the Sparks food plan a shot to see how that works.

I'm also committed to getting to the gym AT LEAST 3 xs a week.

Other Information:
I'm kinda a cool person. I don't drink or do drugs. I have an 12 year old. I like tattoos and KROQ (LA)kinda music. I like to go to concerts and have fun. I also like to read and watch foreign films.

    Thanks for the comment on my blog. So what if I can't even handle one night of indulgence. That's my problem I just can't get moderation in my head and enjoy just a little. I didn't have this problem before but it's bad now. I'm just better not to even touch the stuff because once I have one thing I swear it just opens the door to go crazy!!!

    Oh yeah and my speed of running, I really didn't know I had it in me until I joined spark. Believe it or not I hated to run and would be huffing and puffing after 1 or 2 blocks. Then I joined spark and started running more on the treadmill and did a 7 mile race last year and I couldn't believe I did it in just a little over an hour. I should be able to do it in under an hour this year I'm guessing.

    So I'm giving up sugar too and I'm hoping to last longer. I would really like to last the last 30 days of the P90X program I'm doing so instead of maintaining I can actual see a change. How was your day today? I have done great these past couple days!
