HMF... I think I need to update this thing more often... I'm now 39... and dangi it... I'm gonna be 40 and FIT if it KILLS ME! 07/12/10 Hi... I think I have probably the same story as many out there. When your young and foolish you don't exactly eat the way you should or take care of yourself... but here I am 36 years, and 2 kids later... I weigh 218 lbs. My Dr has recommended that I lose 118 lbs because I am 5ft 3in and I have a family history of heart disease and diabetes. When he said that my jaw hit the floor... I couldn't believe I was being told to do something that seemed so impossible. So I dieted, half heartedly exercised and lost about 10lbs... gained it back lost it again, gained it back... it goes on and on. I think when you view a task that seems impossible to finish you kind of think to yourself... I can't do that, so why try... meaning I never finished what I started... SO... I have a new game plan. I want to loose 18 lbs before the end of the year... YEP... I wanna look hot for my hubby on New Years Eve... so I am determined to get the first 18 lbs off and keep them off and then work on the next 18... I figure if I break it up I can celebrate each time I hit a goal!
