Hello!! I am so glad you had a great time on your cruise. I wish I could tell you where all we are going, but I am not sure. I know we port in San Juan, and we have 6 ports of call ( St Martin and Thomas are the only two I can recall at this time) I am excited. That cruise is in March. The cruise in Feb ports in Key West, FL and the Bahamas. It is only a 3 day cruise so there is also a day at sea. I am not joining this session on BL, I did not see it working for me. Maybe when I get back from all my travels, I will get back in for the next session.

Hey Jory. I like the new Screen name.

As for green juicing, I might not be the best person to ask. I don't juice. I use a Vita-Mix and retain the bulk of the veggies. I make "Green Lemonade" but in the Vita-Mix. I use a half a bundle of kale (6 stalks), an apple, a lemon and an inch of fresh ginger root. Sometimes I add other things like spinach to that basic recipe.

The Green Lemonade was originally a juiced recipe so I am assuming you can follow it as written. The original recipe comes from Natalia Rose who wrote "The Raw Foods Detox Diet" I highly recommend this book for anyone interestd in a produce-based diet, particularly a diet with a high percentage of raw foods. She explains food combining in a way that relly makes sense.

I can't remember where i got this info, but I have always gone off the belief that I need to consume my juiced or blended veggies within 18 hours - sometime that same day. I would imagine you could freeze some and retain the nutritional content for longer than one day. Freezing is a great way to preserve produce.
