Thanks for stopping bymy blog. I have come to the conclusion that focusing on external cues like scales and calorie counts is not the way I want to live. I read the book "intuitive Eating" and that changed my thinking a bit. I looked for titles on similar topics and the two I am reading are along those lines. I figure I know so much about nutrition and exercise that ther has to be more to it...

way to go on your swim meets!

Thanks for the tip on Jeff Galloway - I read his articles in Runners world all the time and I actually used his program to get me through my 1/2 marathon. It's an excellent program

Thanks for you comment on my blog. I appreciate the support.

I'll keep working on those eating habits. Like you, the workouts really help to keep the weight in check.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I haven't been back to the doctor since I wrote that, so I don't know where the number is now. But I'm eating less beef, pork and eggs and more chicken, turkey and fish. And I cut out dairy altogether. I'm curious, but I'm also still dealing with my insurance company. It's been 6 weeks and I'm still waiting for statements of the coverage. Did I say my insurance sucks?
