I'm off them all due to side effects so I'm on my own in terms of recurrance. but I have a bad thyroid and the synthroid so teh metabolism is definitely effected. I'm adding a dance tape to the exercise this week to see if that will help mix things up a bit and help nudge the scale dial along. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you too!

Hi,
I'm a BC survivor too and just wondering if you are on femara, tamoxien, etc? I hit a plateau that lasted 3 weeks...changed exercise plan, and realized i was under 1000 calories so became more vigilant about staying within the calorie range and dropped 2 pounds overnight---but immediately hit another plateau. Some other BC survivors wrote to me to say they were on one of the recurrance preventative meds and tehy all seem to make it difficulty to lose/with everyone hitting plateaus. (sighhh......)
so as not to get discouraged, I am weighing myself once a month (hard for a scale addict), and using the tape measure in between.( i have lost inches since the scale dial got stuck in the mud.)
Hang in there!

Thanks for the goodie, Colleen! (belated) Don't worry about being stuck...you will pop back in no time at all. I seem to be stuck myself at 220. Maybe I'm eating too little!
Call me!
Sandi

I have been stuck at 198 since January. I would really love to get moving down again... Good luck on the walk.
