Lucretia's New Reflection

I am a 43 year old woman who had her career and 15 year relationship come crashing down around her 5 years ago. It has been an emotionally devastating few years. Things are much better now. I have a wonderful man who loves me for who I am, just the way I am. I still can't help feeling I've lost myself somewhere, I'm just not quite "me" yet. When I look in the mirror I no longer see the strong, independent, healthy, fit person I once was and I miss her... so I'm here find her!

Thanks so much for the comment on my blog! From what I understand you need a calorie deficit of about 500 calories a day if your goal is to lose a pound a week. That comes out to 3500 per pound. I tried WeightWatchers too but couldn't afford to keep paying membership. SparkPeople seems like a great substitute.
