Change for Good

My name is Melissa, I joined SparkPeople about a month before my 33rd birthday to help me lose weight and get healthier. That was 4 years ago.

A friend of mine has been successful here and inspired me to reactivate on SP. Its hard to start over (again, and again, and again) when you feel like a failure. But, I someone reminded me that stopping any addictive behavior often takes multiple attempts before success. And I keep reminding myself of the same.

Thank you for the sweet spark goodie, Melissa! I agree, you can do it, and it's best to find the right plan for YOU. This is not a one-size-fits-all undertaking. Experiment and listen to your body and it will lead you where you need to go. But I will send you info on what I've learned from research and my own trial and error in case it is helpful to you in any way.
