I really love working out. I'm an at home warrior that has a huge collection of dvds/vhs workouts and equipment. My faves are kickboxing ,circuit training(cardio + weights = heaven), plyometrics, jumping rope and Lotte Berk inspired barre work. I have a kettlebell that I love swinging.

I started this journey in the Spring of 2008 by changing my diet. I lost around 40 pounds by just changing my eating habits then in November 2008 I started working out. I wish I hadn't waited so long to start exercising but I really didn't think I could do it at my size but boy was a wrong. So far I've lost 100+ lbs the natural old fashion way.I've learned that I'm stronger and more athletic than I would have ever suspected.

I've been through depression and disappointment now I want to live life in a new way. After coping with childhood obesity for most of my life I've finally became an adult and I now have the tools I need to solve my weight problem. Before I could work on the physical I had to get my spirit right. Now that I've analyzed the pain and found the root its time for me to move past it. I've done enough emotional healing that I can make a strong and successful attempt at living a joyful healthy life. I still have a lot of wrok to do concerning body image and being afraid of fully embracing life.

My father had a stroke that caused my frame of mind concerning my own health to change. It made me realize that my lifestyle plus my genes are a disaster waiting to happen if I donít change. Stopping high blood pressure, heart disease and stroke from stealing my life from me is my primary goal.Iím on a journey towards pride, self empowerment and dream actualization.

By the grace of God with a lot of hard work and determination I will reclaim my life and uncover my destiny in the process.
I'm still cleaning out all the clutter in my life and getting rid of all the things that prohibit growth. I'm getting there slowly.

I'm 27 and I've never been at a healthy weight. I hope to change this soon.I think of myself as a chic nerd. I love going to thrift stores. I'm a hardcore crafter that is really into fiber arts. I have a spinning wheel that I still need to learn how to use. I own a huge collection of used books. A big portion of them have to deal with crafts, exercise and nutrition.
