My Goals:
I want to lose between 65 and 75 pounds to be in the normal BMI range for my height.

My Program:
I'm not drinking soda. I'm avoiding starch heavy foods like pasta and breads and cereals. I'm drinking lots of water and getting 8 hours of sleep.

Personal Information:
Have been divorced for nearly 15 years. Moved to Charlotte 2 years ago and love it! I'm a children's librarian and I adore my job. And no, I don't get to sit and read all day, I'm on my feet a lot for my job!

Hi! I was just reading the "weigh in" thread on the "30 somethings page . . . " and hear your frustration. I made big changes last week and only lost 2 pounds - sigh. I was hoping for more too, especially with the workouts and the change in diet. That said, like you, I am determined to stay with it and not get discouraged enough to slide backwards (which is a bad pattern for me).

Keep at it! Sounds like you are doing great and making healthy choices. Have a GREAT week - reach out any time you feel you need support. We are not alone - it's hard and overwhelming at times, but I know it will be worth it. I have been checking out some of the success stories - their pages - and they are helping me see that it can be done.
