This is my goal! I was about 135lbs at this picture. This was 10 years ago approximately.
Fishing off Homer Alaska for Halibut. (By the way I was 5 1/2 months pregnant with my son here!)

Shared Food & Fitness Trackers
Wife to a Retired US Army soldier, Mother to an almost 11 year old son.
To be honest, in the past, I was giving a "half effort" at weight loss and being healthy. As long as it was convenient, as long as it wasn't inconveniencing my family, as long as it wasn't difficult, etc.
You get the idea.
Then, at one point in my life I got serious. Really serious. And I dropped about 40 lbs.
But what happens when you become complacent, when you lose sight of your goal? You gain again. And that is what I've done. Not the full bit, but enough to know it has to stop.
I would like to get down to 145 pounds and firm up my abs and glutes.
Currently I visit the gym for most of my Cardio on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Wednesdays and Fridays are for weightlifting at home as well as Pilates, practicing at Zumba or playing Wii Fit with my son.
I wear a GoWear Fit by BodyMedia to also provide feedback on calories burned, steps taken, and quality of sleep.
My name is Tamara, I''ve been married for 20 1/2 years and I have a 9 yr old son. I am a Senior Government Travel Counselor.
Favorite Books or Authors (tons of them, I'm a avid reader): Dean Koontz; Stephen King; Stan Jones; Omnivore Dilemma by Michael Pollan; Memoirs of a Geisha; Diana Gabaldon

Hey there!! Thanks for the photo comment!! I actually have a BodyBugg (pretty much the same thing as a BodyMedia) and I really enjoy it!
And I'm right there with you - cheese is SO hard for me to give up! I'm okay without any other type of dairy, but cheese is just impossible for me to give up!!! I naturally stick with more of a vegetarian diet anyways as well, so its just adjusting what I already eat a little bit.
I think your juice fast sounds like a great idea! What exactly do you do for that and how long does it last? What kind of results do you usually see from it?

Hey there! Thanks for the blog comment! I appreciate it! I think the challenge is a fun idea and I'll totally do it with you - but also for me this is more of a lifestyle change. So I don't really want to go into it with a "challenge" mentality (that if I mess up I've failed, you know?) I think it will work out well! Feel free to join me after your juice fast!
Hope you have a great day!
