Changing My Way of Life...

I have a 2 yr old baby girl, who is the light in my life nowadays. I gained about 60lbs during my pregnancy and I have about 5 lbs to lose to get back to my pre-preggers weight.
I have recently started eating healthier and lowered my stress level, which has helped me tremendously. I've actually lost 8lbs just by doing these two things. So now, I have to start getting physical to truly reach my goals. I have re-started the Couch 2 5K program and I plan to run/walk in the Susan Komen Race ...

*UPDATE: I finished the Race for the Cure 5K on 10/9/10 in 38 minutes!
*UPDATE: I finished C25K in November and have completed 7 5Ks. My last 5K was the Mutt Strut Hand in Paw Run on 4/16/11, which I completed in 29:52!
*UPDATE: I completed the B210K program on 4/15/11. Can't believe I am running for an entire hour now!
I have lost a total of 40 lbs since September. I'm almost to my goal weight and excited for what's to come!

Hey there! I just joined up last week and have yet to do anything on here, but read all of the emails they send me. I did however just read your page and enjoyed looking at everything. I live pretty close to you off of Euclid. I am much older than you with two elementary children and one Jr. High child, but I am STILL trying to lose my "preggers" weight from my last child eleven years ago...lol :) I also joined Iron Tribe Fitness last month and started their food program. I would love to sign up for one of your walking events...not a big runner yet...also my daughter babysits around neighborhood for the little ones... our neighbors have a two yr old and six month old...u should stroll by to visit one day and explain this program to me and we can meet your babies!
