It's Fall, and we're running really low on 2016!! Two of my favourite things are 1) kettlebells and 2) dumbbells. Lady Sparkers, if you're near Washington, DC's Eastern Market (Metro stop has same name) - even visiting Washington, DC - please do hit me up, here on SparkPeople, to try and get together for a workout or a walk!! Here's my best fitness advice. 1) Get yourself a well-rated home BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR. ($40-$50 bucks, new. We got an OMRON.) You are worth it!! There is no point messing around with hard exercise if you don't know if you may have high blood pressure (or maybe you DO know!) Piece of advice #2) See a medical professional for a check-up. Maybe get your METABOLISM tested while you're at it. Let's end the health and fitness guesswork! -- Enjoy your life. And thanks for visiting my Spark page!

My Goals:
Home & gardening. Brush this doggie... Crunch Fitness online at home, mini-trampoline, housework. Long walks are postponed while recovering from a slow-motion escalator fall. Be very careful on them! Nasty place to fall, because the escalator doesn't stop. Like I found out the hard way, it will strain muscles and other soft tissues (mainly lower body and arms/shoulders, depending how you fall).

My Program:
Trampoline. Strength training, including bodyweight, kettlebells, Body Bar, and dumbbells. Got to get new rebound boots for grandbaby.

Personal Information:
Love fitness and rec sports, and sharing fit activities with others. I compete with myself.

Summer 2016's almost done: Stay out of the heat, and drink plenty water.

Love riding horses.
