I am interested in health and wellness. I want to improve my quality of life! I have been eating more whole foods, fruits, veggies, meats. They make me feel wonderful and can be really tasty, I swear! Also, have been very much trying to avoid processed or "refined" foods.

I work full-time as an Accountant and have my B.S. Degree in Accounting. I sit at my desk a LOT because I have tons of work most days. It's a far cry from my last job where I had almost nothing to do, so was able to get up and move around. I'm trying to figure out how to get this done and be chained to a desk all week.

My Goals:
To be healthy/fit and to like how my stomach looks. Haha!


My Program:
My goal is to workout 3-4 times a week doing cardio (30-40 minutes) and weight training (alternating legs & arms, working in abs almost every time).

I bought an elliptical in addition to the treadmill I own about a month ago and am trying to get back on track with using it. We'll see how it goes!

I love the way I feel AFTER I am done exercising, and wouldn't mind having someone motivate me! I can be a good motivator as well. If there are any LOCAL ladies that would like to be a workout partner, feel free to message me.



Personal Information:
My weight has pretty much been an issue for me since I was 16-17 towards the end of my Junior year in HS. I started gaining & by the spring of 2002 I was 185 lbs heavy. I was unhappier than ever.

After seeing a co-worker on weight watchers, I received tips from her on what to do to lose weight. I was enrolled in a nutrition class at the time & it made me look at food in a different way. That's when I found out there are 4 cups of sugar in a 32 oz. soda! FOUR!

I lost 55lbs in 6 mos., but then I got married & started to gain it back. By the end of my marriage (less than 2 yrs later), I was already back up to 175lbs. Once my ex & I split I lost about 15 lbs & stayed there until I met a new guy.

I then moved to Visalia & in w/my then bf, only to gain that 15lbs back. After about a year I was unhappy w/myself & my relationship. It wasn't until Dec. of 2007 that I started to get back on track. It's been 3 years & I am almost back.

I really like music, movies and television. My favorite kinds of movies are comedies or romances. Music, I mostly like alternative or indie rock type of stuff. Definitely like girly music though (Sara Bareilles, Tegan & Sara, Eisley, etc).

I've also started learning the guitar recently, it's always something I've wanted to do.
