I am a mother to 3 active boys and a wife to a caring loving supportive husband. I am doing this for me and me alone to be happier/healthier. I struggle alot...and I am an emotional eater. When I am down I lose motivaion. I am here because I am serious about losing weight and I need all the help I can get.

Thank you for reading my blog. I am so glad you are getting started with biking, and you should feel great about doing 3 miles. Everybody has to start somewhere! Anyway, I don't do the 90 miles in one day. It's spread out over 9 rides in 5 days. It's 10 miles to work each day, and 10 miles back.

If you are not strong enough for hills yet, perhaps there are some flatter trails you can try that would help you build up miles more gradually?

Keep up the good work!

You sound a lot like me. I have 4 active boys and am doing this for me. I want to finally lead a healthy lifestyle.

My current weight is 234.8 so we're in the same ball game. If you're looking for a buddy, send me a sparkmail and maybe we can work together!
