In 2008 I lost 50 pounds and was extremely fit I even ran a marathon, yup just over 42 km(26.2 miles) I kept it off for a year or so, then gradually gained 40 back. I said enough already and lost 30 pounds, and then, you guessed it, the scale once again started it's upward climb and I gained 13 pounds back. So 2013 brought a new resolve to lose the weight once and for all, I lost the 13 pounds but here I sit still trying to lose 35 pounds.
What am I going to do differently this year? ...

What am I going to do differently this year? I have hired a personal trainer to get me through the strength training which I keep putting off . I have restarted my running program that a back injury put a halt to last spring, and I have my lovely fit bit (which I have become addicted to) to keep a running total of the calories I my or may not consume and of course my fantastically supportive spark friends.

I live in a small town in the mountains of southern BC Canada. Living in a small town has it's shopping challenges but makes up for it by having amazing outdoor recreation opportunities.

Other Information:
I LOVE to play outside. It takes the work out of working out..ha ha ha I'm playingout!

Hey...thanks for the comment! So you had similar symptoms, but they went away? Did they stop right away, or gradually? I do drink broth on my fast days, and add the pink salt and lite salt to my food...sometimes even to my lemon water....REALLY hoping I can get past this stuff, because I'm loving keto otherwise...

Wow, you are doing great!! That is awesome! From the start of the year I am only down about 8 lbs..but the first few months of the year I wasn't really into it. In the last month, I am down about 5 lbs, and the best part is, hubby is working out with me every day! It's so much fun and definitely keeps me motivated.
