In 2008 I lost 50 pounds and was extremely fit I even ran a marathon, yup just over 42 km(26.2 miles) I kept it off for a year or so, then gradually gained 40 back. I said enough already and lost 30 pounds, and then, you guessed it, the scale once again started it's upward climb and I gained 13 pounds back. So 2013 brought a new resolve to lose the weight once and for all, I lost the 13 pounds but here I sit still trying to lose 35 pounds.
What am I going to do differently this year? I have hired a personal trainer to get me through the strength training which I keep putting off . I have restarted my running program that a back injury put a halt to last spring, and I have my lovely fit bit (which I have become addicted to) to keep a running total of the calories I my or may not consume and of course my fantastically supportive spark friends.

I live in a small town in the mountains of southern BC Canada. Living in a small town has it's shopping challenges but makes up for it by having amazing outdoor recreation opportunities.

    Yes, it's the page change. I am so tired of being treated like I don't matter.
    I felt abused and violated. They made our pages ugly.
    They took all the color and beauty out of the page, probably to get more advertisements.
    They can stick it . I'd better stay away before the kick me off for having a negative opinion.

    Thanks for the friend add! I've added you as well. Your story sounds a lot like mine. I'm working on losing the 70 lbs that I regained after losing 170 lbs a few years ago.

    Hey...thanks for the comment! So you had similar symptoms, but they went away? Did they stop right away, or gradually? I do drink broth on my fast days, and add the pink salt and lite salt to my food...sometimes even to my lemon water....REALLY hoping I can get past this stuff, because I'm loving keto otherwise...

    Wow, you are doing great!! That is awesome! From the start of the year I am only down about 8 lbs..but the first few months of the year I wasn't really into it. In the last month, I am down about 5 lbs, and the best part is, hubby is working out with me every day! It's so much fun and definitely keeps me motivated. Coffee on to you, my friend! emoticon emoticon
