No More Excuses

I came on here because I am looking to keep myself accountable for the decisions I make as far as my health and for motivation. My goal is to lose 101 pounds and never look back. I don't want the scale to forever be my enemy.

I started this on August 15th 2012 (my bday) at 231lbs.

Thank you for your kind words on my blog! I agree with everything you said. One day at a time, and we can't let ourselves get discouraged when we don't do 100% as we planned. And by the way, congratulations on kicking soda! That's my next goal. I don't really drink it too much here at the house (normally I would only buy it when I bought alcohol, as a mixer), so now that one is gone, the other seems to be. But, that being said, hopefully it won't be that hard of a habit to kick. Happy Thanksgiving :)

Hey there... thanks for the encouragement. It looks like you aren't doing too bad yourself! The most important thing I have learned is not to be too hard on yourself on bad days. Keep up the good work. You are beautiful!

Welcome to Spark People I have come to the same conclusion I can't keep going up and down weight wise. I am 50 years old and want to be healthy for my self and my granddaughter. You look like a very beautiful couple and 2 kids is great. Keep up the good work and thanks to your husband and his family for the job you all do for the rest of us!
