ChaLean I used a range of 2# (triceps are my weak area), 3, 5, 8, and 10. You can use what you have, and get more if you need too. She teaches you how to make what you have heavier or if you have bands you can go that option too. And no problem helping out at all. I did 30 DS with Jillian before I did ChaLean too. ChaLean Extreme is also a very good workout. I lost 24 inches in the 90 days on her program. You could always do them as a hybrid too. Do ChaLean or Les Mills Pump for 3 days lifting and use Turbo Jam as your cardio. I can get bored easily if I have the same DVD to do over and over, so hybrids always work for me :) Something to think about. 1527 days ago
I my Les Mills Pump program, it's my soul mate workout. I'm half way through and can see a difference in strength gained and inches lost. Already planning on doing a Les Mills/Turbo Fire hybrid after I complete it.
Another thing I find that I like in the program is you don't just have one trainer, there are several and they continually switch through out. One trainer will do the warm-up, than another chest, another legs and so on...music is really catchy too LOL, many of times the songs will be playing in my head throughout the day 1527 days ago
