so thankful

9-5-09 still so very thankful i have kept the weight off october 8th makes a year and thing are going good. i am still growing and maintain my new lifestyle. though god all things are possible




6-28-09 i am so thankful for the life change. the strenght that god has given me to take back control over my life. i am truly blessed. still not at goal weight but so close. if i dont lose another lb i will not gain another that a promise i made to myself.

to who ever is reading this please do not give up it not going to come off over night i have been on this journey since october. the question is was it worth it and the answer is yes. yes because i can breath i can jog i can play with my god -children i can live a longer healthier life. i have lost 54 lb and still going so please stay strong










today is 4/20/09 and for the last month i have hit a plateau again. no i am not sad i stuck with it. I am so past giving up on myself. I will never do that ever. I have realized that it is true everything they say that we as sparker need to do is so right. I am on stage 4 and i do the checkups now. at first i was not sure that i could not log my food and water intake, but i needed to see because i was logging it everyday since i started but last month i stop just to see if i was in dieting fad or lifestyle change
i am happy to say that it truly a lifestyle change. I broke the plateau. lost 6lbs since i stop logging my food. it did take time to wait out that darn plataeu but not giving up is the key. I did a lot of reading on sparks and that made me aware of those times when i would not lose for a week or even a month. I have never felt better in my life. i can do stairs with out being out of breath. my body dont ache because it to overweight. dont get me wrong i still have a way to go but i have reach my goal from the first day i started to change my life style. i can wear a size 12 jeans. i can breath much better. with that been said i going to try for a 9/10 jeans and to go from walking/jogging to just jogging. my #1 lesson i learned on this journey so far is to never give up and let god. Let god have your whole life.







today is 3-9-09 i weigh 188 with 13 to go before a 50 lb loss. well last month i mention that i might lose a few more.
and i know that i am going to go to 160 instead 170. So i am happy with that revalation.



today 2-9-09 i weight in at 193 only 18 to go before a 50 lb lose. but i think i am going to lose a few more lbs.
my ideal pant size was a 12 and shirt a med
i am actually in a 14 pants and large shirt so it depends on my body if i keep going after reaching goal


today 1-12-09 made it to 199.2 yes yes yes thank you lord for the strength to help me to get this far and to finish my journey



hey everyone, i feel like i am no longer new here but part of this huge spark family. with that being said hey everyone. my journey is getting much easier as i continue along. i realized that it truly takes one day at a time but that with anything. i am learning to be patience which is truly a new task with end itself . if anyone have any advice that they have learned along the way feel free to post a comment here about it . i love discovering different thing. i also know that what works for other may not work for me. but it might work for someone who decided to stop by and view my page.

My Goals:
goals for 09

only goal is to maintain my new lifestlye change.

My Program:
new program for 09
is to make sure i stay with in my calorie range which is a must. workout before work, at lunch, and in the evening. i eat three times a day at least i will do some type of workout at least three times a day. but not on weekend unless i have nothing else to get into.
eat only 100 calorie snacks. in 08 bite size twix was my treat now it sugar free chocalate pudding.
finally to never ever give up on me again if i fall i am going to jump right back up and continue not start over because i want stop.
