WELCOME to my place!
"Mrs" because I'm married, "Honey" is what my hubby calls me, and "C" is the first letter of my last name. I've had this username since 1995, and its done well. I am now residing in McAlester Oklahoma. We'll be here for 8 more months - March 2010 can't come fast enough! I'm a 'first generation' American. My father immigrated (through the US Army) from Panama, my mother was born in Canada. I was born in San Francisco. My youngest sister was born in Japan - no, she doesn't have a 'Made In Japan' tatoo on her rear or the back of her neck! I love to cook! My best meals are my 'inventions'. I like experimenting with different herbs and spices. I cook with no salt and LOVE garlic! I'm on a continuing quest for tasty, wholesome meals. My Weight Loss Journey Before December 2006 I weighed well over 204 pounds, depending on the week. I really didn't start 'doing' anything different - however I'd been a vendor stocker for 5 months at that time. I noticed in December that I HAD to be losing weight ... as my WEDDING RING flew across the room! That's when I decided to start weighing myself, so God knows, I could have weighed a bit more than 214! By July 31st I came down to 177. By October, 2007 the scales measured me under 150, and in November, 145. On November 21st I met my goal weight of 140. I have learned to incorporate water (20 cups a day!) and fresh fruits and veggies into my daily lifestyle and I use the nutrition tracker to keep myself accoutable for what I stick in my mouth! I am the Team Leader of the SPClass of January 6-12, 2008. MAY 3, 2008 I made TEAM LEADER OF THE MONTH. July 1, 2008 I was a guest on a RADIO TALK SHOW, OnTheHomeStrech with hostess Debbie Allen. *Everything happens for a reason. *I'd rather live my life believing in a God and finding out there isn't one, than to live my life not believing and finding out there is. - Rita's Retreat - Private Team - In order to move past your mistakes you have to keep pushing yourself forward. The only person who is still beating you up over what you did is you and it's time to move on. You are not perfect, that's no mystery. But no one else is either. Set a goal today. Hold yourself to a high standard and force yourself to rise to your own expectations. Give yourself an emotional hug and start focusing on the future. You've learned from where you've been. BE Strong! BE Determined! BE Successful!

My Goals:
Maintain 140 - 145 Drink at least 20 cups water a day (Yes, 160 ounces each day!)
My Program:
First and foremost: Drinking AT LEAST 20 glasses of water every day. Being accountable for what I eat. Follow the SparkPeople healthy habits lifestyle.
Personal Information:
I am 5'5" tall. I am a 'Jill of All Trades'. If it's broke, I can figure out how to fix it. If I can't, I find out and do it. I've done everything from PC's to sewer pipes to replacing the coils and thermostat in a dryer. I can change brakes on a van and know how to change out the oil. I am NOT afraid of change ... as long as I know it's coming! I have become better at confrontations through the motivational emails I get from SparkPeople. I've been married 25 years now. It's been a heck of a rollercoaster ride, but it's been worth it! I have 3 kids, the oldest is 24, the next is 21 and my youngest is 20.
Other Information:
I believe that everything happens for a reason. I would not be who I am today if it were 'all good'.
