2011 WILL BE MY YEAR!! . . . MAKE THAT 2012!!

Ok, so 2011 didn't quite go as planned, in that, I got pregnant a lot quicker than I thought I would!! Happy, happy!! My second son was born on Tuesday 17th April 2012, weighing 7lbs 1oz. We are all very much in love with him!!

Ok, so 2011 didn't quite go as planned, in that, I got pregnant a lot quicker than I thought I would!! Happy, happy!! My second son was born on Tuesday 17th April 2012, weighing 7lbs 1oz. We are all very much in love with him!!

I weighed myself 2 days after giving birth and was shocked to see my highest weight ever staring back at me . . . 252lbs!!(I have reflected this in my Spark Program reset, so I will always have a record of it). I was mortified!! However, my son will be 4 weeks old tomorrow and I now weigh 238 . . . breast feeding helps no end!!

My promise to myself . . . I will end 2012 lighter, fitter, healthier (physically and mentally) than I started it.

My Goals:
My longer term goal is to lose 50 lbs by New Years 2012 . . . wish me luck!!

Daily goals are:

Drink 8 glasses of water.
Eat at least 5 fruit/vegetables.
Get at least 7 hours sleep. (Bit optimistic with a new born, I think!).
10,000 steps.
Log on to SparkPeople.


My Program:
At least 30 min cardio every day.

Strength training 4 times a week.

Going to the gym isn't much of an option for me, being a stay at home mum of a 3 yr old and a newborn. So, I make sure I have lots of variations to choose from as I get bored very easily. I have various dvd's to choose from including Zumba and some SparkPeople ones on their way.
I also like to work out on the Wii, so as well as Wii Fit Plus, I have Zumba for the Wii too.
