Hello Brenda Mrs. Fancy Lady!!!! emoticon So nice hearing from you, and your welcome! I hope your Easter was lovely, mines was very nice I did cook outside of the norm from the way I was eating for my son, he did one thing for sure put on a good talk, under no circumstances was he having a vegan Easter dinner, he made that clear!!!, Lol! He reminded me of how I always cook on the holidays and had put in his menu for Easter of what he wanted me to buy so he can have it, so little man got what he wanted for his Easter meal, as a result we both did over indulged just a bit through the week after Easter until we got tired of Easter left overs. I had brought so much food, had to make room to fit the meals I cooked for Easter in the refrigerator.
Because of the calories, I made sure that I got in my workouts, I brought a new DVD by Leslie Sansone for my collection 5 Mega Miles, and Girl it will make you sweat, sweat, sweat!, while working out with the DVD, I make sure I have my tall glass of water with me
between intervals I do take sips of it, and another thing is that you get great results with it noticeable too, my little helper around the house works out with it too, you know we have a buddy team going on here emoticon , so I did reward my son for each workout day he does with me and at the end of the week he'll use his money to buy something he has had his eye on, and already he is planning on taking what he is buying with us on our trip next week, smiles he said "mommy I am buying my own laptop so I could use it in the hotel room when we leave", Lol!!!! He is something else!!!! Keeps me laughing for sure!
I am also celebrating the fact that I have only two classes left after this quarter emoticon emoticon before graduating in December 2015, and at top of my graduate degree class, wow Girl and you know God is so good! I am reminded everyday how blessed I am and his favor and blessings on my life! And Brenda I know Girl you are reminded every day of all the blessings and favor of the Lord on your life too in all you do emoticon Just a few months to go and after the Fall Quarter 2015 emoticon emoticon emoticon before walking across the stage for the ceremony, and as of now I have my eyes on a few options for the kind of dress I am going to buy to wear under my graduation gown, you know I am going to be working my dress, Lol!!! Serious, I have to look good emoticon emoticon , and making sure I keep up my fitness work outs every day emoticon ,

Brenda, This is your journey. You have total freedom, in choosing how you reach 100 miles.
I usually supplement my walks with 2 days in the pool. When it rains, I go to the gym, for the treadmill and I usually do 30 -60 minutes on the recumbent bike. I am lucky, the pool & gym are part of our HOA clubhouse. I don't include those additions in my 100 miles. That's just MY goal. There is no right or wrong in setting & achieving your goal.

I call it my 100 mile journey to good health. I did it in January. I dropped 10lbs. My blood pressure is great.
I don't participate in Team challenges... Never much for team activities.
I just set the goal & go for it. I have a pedometer. 100 miles in 30 days is very easy. I focus on 4 miles a day. 4 miles takes me 1 hour. If I miss a day it's OK. I walk outside, not fond of treadmills. I will do the treadmill, if I get 3 days of rain. ( I don't get on the scale the whole month, until I hit 100) It's a real feeling of accomplishment.
Let me know if you set the goal.
