Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important...
In high school I was the twiggy girl everyone said needed to GAIN weight and when I started college I let myself go. I successfully lost almost 30 pounds prior to my wedding and felt the best I had felt in years. Unfortunately, after our wedding I went back to grad school and my hubby and I ate and worked so much I lost my good eating habits and exercising motivation and gained almost 20 pounds back! I used Spark people for 2 years to get back into chape before having babies and before I turned 30 and successfully lost 50 pounds and felt great until a year ago I began a battle with a painful arthritic autoimmune disease and gained 42 pounds back, no babies to contribute to that either! I worked for 7 years as an ER nurse and recently finished grad school and am now a Nurse Practitioner so I see every day in my patients just how invaluable your health is. I want to inspire my younger sisters and my husband to get and stay in shape for their health, I want to feel good for my overall health, not for any specific occasion and want to really commit to changes I can stick with for life. Most of all, I want babies!!

My Goals:
My fatigue and joint pain put a huge wrench in my workouts so my new goal is to find something new to get me back to where I was as far endurance and general well being. My ultimate goal is to get to 135.
My Program:
Initial program was Jogging/Aerobics 2-3 times per week. Now I am looking for a new program that won't exacerbate my joint pain yet still help me lose weight and stay strong. Finding ways to be more active every day! LOTS OF H2O!! Counting calories and retraining myself to eat healthier!
