Hi Sandra. Good to hear from you :) My son is completely better, so everyone is doing great. I have completely fallen off the wagon, too, with regard to tracking my food and exercise....I do still exercise, but it's been sporadic...maybe once a week. That will do nothing for me! I don't know where my motivation went to...Glad to hear that your husband is doing well with his meds. Mine is too, but may consider switching cholesterol meds; it's possible that that the Crestor is the cause of his sugar levels going up. I have a big birthday coming in March, one month after yours :) We should try to motivate each other to get healthy for those nice big round numbers 1321 days ago
It was nice to hear from you, and thanks for the support! I'm doing better now. Although the house is so empty with both kids at college, I'm starting to get used to it a little bit. It's hard to stop worrying, though, about how my son is doing. He's not great at time management and organization, but I guess you have to learn some time, right?
Happy Anniversary! I hope that you and your husband had a nice celebration and how nice that it was also your grandson's birthday! Glad to hear that the pen insulin is working well for your husband. Mine is still on the lower dose of the Metformin, but we think that the cholesterol meds my be making his glucose levels higher. He may end up switching back to Lipitor. Happy Thursday :) 1367 days ago
Thanks for stopping by my page and leaving a nice comment. Thor is doing really well. Tommy just had a scan this morning and has a doctor appointment Monday when we'll get the results. We're more worried about this one because he's been coughing again. We're hoping it's just a seasonal allergy thing and not the tumors in his lungs are growing again. Time will tell.
We did have a nice time camping night before last and plan to go to the race at Martinsville this Sunday. Hope all is going well with you. Have a great Easter also!
