Hello! I'm 21 years old and currently in my senior year of college as a communication major. I'm so ready to graduate this coming May because that means not only that I'm DONE - but I get to marry my best friend, soulmate, and the love of my life.

Hello! I'm 21 years old and currently in my senior year of college as a communication major. I'm so ready to graduate this coming May because that means not only that I'm DONE - but I get to marry my best friend, soulmate, and the love of my life.

I've struggled with bouts of anorexia throughout my late teen years but have since changed my views on health and fitness. I try to keep my first and foremost focus on keeping my body healthy rather than upholding it to harsh standards. Note the key word "try" - it's hard to keep my head on straight sometimes, but body image is an ongoing struggle for me.

Currently I'm working on losing a few vanity pounds. I'd like to lose about five before Christmas and then another five before my bridal portraits and wedding next spring.

Slow and steady wins the race - a motto I need to remember... please, please, PLEASE guys: help keep me accountable and grounded.

Above all, I seek to recognize that this life is temporal and that the ultimate race involves the ULTIMATE goal: Christ, my Lord and Savior. I can be as obsessed with being healthy and fit as I want, but the truth is that focusing on God is what really matters!

My Program:
+ Slight calorie deficit with emphasis on whole foods
+ 3 days resistance training
+ 4-5 days cardio (or more, if I feel like it)

+ Reward successes
+ Notice at least one good thing about self each day
+ Prayer, prayer, prayer
