I'm desperate...I'm tired of being the "big girl" in the group, I'm tired of being embarrased when we eat out in public, I'm tired of not being able to borrow anyone's clothes because they won't fit. I'm tired of finding myself in embarrasing situations because of my weight (ie. having harder time than others getting in and out of the boat and car), I'm tired of knowing I have full control over what I put in my mouth and don't do a darn thing about it. It varies, we try to run 3 days a week with 2 timed runs and one Long run. Our long runs start out short and work our way to just over a mile more than the max mile we need to run the race then we back off to lower miles right up to race day.

Thats an excellent site to start with. We used the 10k training four our 10K.
