I reached my goal in 2009 and plan to stay there in 2014.

Hello fellow slimmers. "I'm hoping that public humiliation will help me lose the pounds before my doctor decides to weigh me again!" That was what I wrote when I joined SparkPeople. My wish came true and I reached my goal weight in time for my next doctor's appointment. I don't know who was more pleased....her or me! Now I am Sparking for life.....BECAUSE IT WORKS!!!

VIRTUAL WALKS: I love walking and I track it by doing virtual walks plus a little jogging and a little stationary cycling.

Around the Irish coastline clockwise from Dublin: commenced September 23rd 2012. Completed 3181
miles by December 13th 2014. Have reached Ardglass, Co. Down.

Around the British coastline anti-clockwise from the Thames Woolwich Barrier: in progress since October 11th, 2009. Completed 5552 miles by Sep 22nd, 2012. Have reached Greenwich, London, England. VIRTUAL WALK IS NOW COMPLETE!!!!!

Thames Path from the source to the sea : completed 184 miles from September 4th to October 10th, 2009. Averaged 5.1 miles per day.

Around the Isle of Wight: completed 67 miles from August 23rd to September 3rd, 2009. Averaged 5.6 miles per day.

Land's End to John O'Groats: completed 1111 miles from January 1st to August 22nd, 2009. Averaged 4.7 miles per day.

I'd love to reach 60kg by summer 2009. DONE.

I want my doctor to look surprised the next time she weighs me! DONE.

To jog for 30 minutes without stopping. DONE.

To run a 5K in under 35 minutes.

Fit into UK size 10 trousers. DONE.

To reach 1000 miles on my "Around the British coast" virtual walk. DONE.

To do 10 tabletop lifts. DONE.

To reach a weight of 58kg.

My Program:
I have really got the exercise bug and look forward to each day as an opportunity to get fit.

The program that works for me includes deep breathing, stretching, doing the "exercise of the day", Pilates, walking, jogging, gardening, tracking my food carefully and drinking 8 glasses of water daily.



Personal Information:

Thanks for the comments on my blog . We have been lucky to get away twice this year to Spain but it did rain every day in May so loved last week with the sun.When we both retire we may not be able to do these trips. The flight is only 2 hours and we only live about 40mins from the airport. I am enjoying my new hair it feels fun however my mother hates it DH is getting use to it will see what my hairdresser suggests in 6 weeks.

so good to hear you're on the mend and enjoying walks.
DH took my pic and it was fine.
But my head tilts and the passport office said it had to be "straight".
Something about scanner..................any hoe, took them again yesterday and with much straining and pain I managed it!
They had better accept them this time emoticon
