Something's Gotta Give
My name is Amber. I'm about to turn 29 and I'm tired of being overweight. I'm hoping to lose about three pounds a week--reaching my goal weight by sometime next summer. My beginning goals are to eliminate eating out (or at least minimize it to maybe once a month), to take a walk outside daily, and to post my goals in a visible place in my home. In high school, I weighed 150 lbs. Anti-depressants and stress eating has led me to a weight of 325 lbs. in just over ten years. I've since married. I ...
I want to have children, but my weight has made me infertile. My husband loves me just as I am, but I want to FEEL sexy for him. I used to feel attractive, but I don't anymore. I refuse to continue this way, facing down thirty very unhealthy with fertility fading. To achieve the family and lifestyle I want, something has to change, and I want to start today! I struggle with depression, and tend to give up easily. I'm probably going to need a lot of encouragement. I really hope that this forum will provide me with some much needed help. I would also love to make some encouraging friends to return the favor.

My Goals:
To lose 175 lbs. so that I can be healthy and have a long life with my husband. The ultimate goal is to lose enough weight to get pregnant.
My Program:
I'm starting a little slowly because my bipolar disorder makes it difficult to stick with life changes. I'm aiming to stop eating out, start walking for 15-30 minutes daily, and remain active on this site to keep me motivated. As my endurance improves, I will slowly increase my daily physical activity. I also plan on taking advantage of the forums and all the people here who I can draw support from.
Personal Information:
