Where do I go from here?

My name is Michelle and I am going to get right to the point...I love to eat- whether it is emotionally charged eating, going out with family or friends...whatever the case- I like to eat and with that being said- my eating has gotten out of control and I am now trying to curb it....by making healthier choices.

I am a mom, a girlfriend, sister, daughter, partner, and student. I am overwhelmed with work and the fact that I feel I never have "enough" time for my little girl. I love ...

I love to eat but I hate what it does to my body...with this being said, I want to stop looking at the glass being half empty and start looking at it being half full!

I joined SP a few years ago and as I usually do, I started off really well and the backslided to a point that I no longer wanted to log any of my food enteries because I was embarassed. I want to make a real effort this time- I want to make it work so that I can live a healthier life, be a better lover, partner, friend and family member- so that I can be a better, more active mommy for my 2-year old.

With all of this being said, let's follow Nike's motto and "Just Do It!"

My goal is to lose between 90-95pounds (which this being the beginning seems absolutely unattainable!)

I've had a bit of a rough week--mostly work and finance related. Still plugging away at SP. Sometimes it is the only thing that gets me through the week. That must seem silly, but I depend on my Spark plan to give me focus, energy and will. I added swimming to my exercise routine last weekend and have used the lap pool several days last week. (although, I don't know that I would REALLY call it swimming--flailing is more like it. emoticon )

Even when you're feeling overwhelmed or unsuccessful, just keep doing it. Even when you feel like you fell off the horse and the horse is long gone, it isn't. All you have to do is start fresh every day, whether you were successful the day before or not. Make a commitment to yourself that you will do the best you can each day with your clean slate.

This journey is about you. You are worth it. Stay in touch via Spark. While our friends can't do it for us, they can hold our hands while we do it for ourselves.

Thank you for your comment on my page!! I've had my ups and downs throughout all this (and it's still not over.. will it ever be?! haha..) but with hard work it's definitely doable :) I need to keep reminding myself that through slip-ups..
