Slimming Down in the South

Hi, I'm Michelle! I'm 28 and moved last year from Pennsylvania to Louisiana for a new job. So I'm in a new place dealing with old problems. Over the last several years, I fell into a pattern of losing and then gaining back about 20 pounds. I really want to kick this habit, but it's so hard. I need to refocus on myself.

I tried walk/jogging in the past, but I have to accept reality: I don't like running! I joined a gym right next door to my place, so I want to mix up my workouts with strength training, cardio machines and group classes.

In February 2011, I weighed my highest at 191. I got down to 166 in March 2012. I'm back up to 173.
