Hello, I'm MPorr. I'm a wife and mother of 4 wonderful kids.. I have been battling my weight for years now. At the start of 2006 I wasn't happy that I was ringing in ANOTHER NEW YEAR over 200 pounds. I promised myself that I was going to ring in 2007 under 200 pounds, and boy did I. I was down to 154 when I rang in the new year. My highest weight was 260 pounds. I had gained 120 pounds not long after my mother passed away just 4 days after my 27th birthday back in 1997. I literly let myself ...

I literly let myself go, and I wanted to do something about this now before it was too late. Beore I died morbidly obesed.
I have learned so much about myself over the past two years , and my mind is clear now. I'm still learning great things about myself and I finally have the confidence I always wanted in myself. I know for a fact there is still time for me to teach my four kids how to eat right, be healthy and live!

My Goals:
My main goal is to be at a healthy weight by the New Year. I''m still considered over weight, and I just want to hear my doctor finally say I''m at a Healthy Weight!

My Program:
I drink 8 to 10 glasses of water a day, I''m active, I exercise(although I admit have slacked off in that department) and watch what I eat everyday.

Update 11/09/2006.... I'm drinking even more water now, past my 10 glasses **which means maybe I should forward my mail to the restroom LOL ** I'm no longer slacking off on my exercising or eatting habits, matter of fact, each day I'm getting better than before!!

Welcome to our team!! Do you dare to be YOUR Best? It will not be easy, you have already said it. However, you need to remember to make time for yourself, because if you don't take care of yourself, you won't be able to care for others! Congratulations in your success thus far and I know if you stick with our challenges you'll succeed!!! Maybe you can do a weekly computer check when your dad is still sleeping! Ha! You can try to keep a book/notebook log for yourself too!
