My 'Mommy Makeover'

I haven't met my goal yet, but I went from 197 on Dec. 31 2008 to 146 as of January 16, 2010! I will be 120, or smokin hot (whichever comes first...) before I'm done!

Not only am I doing this for me, and the obvious health benefits, I want my husband to 'want' me again, and I have a very physically demanding job that I feel I need to be in better shape to do safely.

My challenges are staying motivated, and the fact that I have a VERY hard time working out alone. I ...

My Goals:
óż Drink more water! (and preferebly use less plastic bottles...)

óż Find at least 4 times a week to spend 45-60 minutes doing some excersize

óż Run a 5K without dying this summer

óż Be a size 6 again (I will settle for an 8 if I look great doing it...)

My Program:
No real program, just a mix of Walking/Jogging/Running, Slim in 6 DVDs, and strength training at home. No gym membership, just a bunch of my husbands equipment and a DVD player.

Personal Information:
I'm an Animal Services Officer and I love my job. My son is 1 year old now and I still have a saggy belly.

Other Information:
Me and my dog are both overweight so I'm doing this for the both of us!

Hi! I came across one of your posts and noticed we have similar goals! How are you finding P90? I'm mostly Jillian Michaels' slave, but I've been curious about crossing over, haha. Great progress, keep it up!

Hi Moxywonder. What an interesting name. :) Hey thanks for the comment. Just read your comment to me and hey, hang in tight. They say it takes something like 3600 calories to put on or to loose a pound so it ain't going anywhere fast hehe. I did a mountain bike ride yesterday and after an hour and a half I burnt about 1000. SO, it ain't going down fast BUT it will go down.

At least we are both aware of what we need to do, why it went astray and what we are going to do hehe.

Good look with the solo couple of weeks and as they say over here Kia Kaha.. Be strong :)
