Sisyphean Efforts
That's what it feels like right now. After a 2 month absence from SP, I'm back at the bottom of the mountain staring a huge boulder in the ass. I haven't been attending to my nutritional health or exercise mainly due to an overwhelming teaching schedule that leaves me more than exhausted at the end of the day. I do not know what today's profile update or food tracking will mean over the long-term. All I can say is that I hope to log on tomorrow, and the day after that and the day ...

My Goals:
I'm trying to meet the goals of my program below for the month of May. Though I had to set a weight loss goal for my ticker, it seems easier--right now anyway--to approach my fitness and food programs each day as the work I need to accomplish. It's a step by step process!
My Program:
I have set the goal of working out at least 3 times a week using the Sparkpeople fitness guides. I do Pilates at home on my non-gym days. I'm also trying very hard to stay within the 1400-1500 calories/day range as prescribed by my doctor. That's far more difficult than working out!
