    Hi Moxie - I just read your thread about Insulin Resistance. I was on vacation when you posted it. I am having a terrible time with not losing hardly any weight. I have IR, and it is not fun. I have been checking out books at the library on the subject. The condition is also called Syndrome X. I have it, but in the past you have lost quite a bit. Your body could just be resting at this weight for a while before it lets go of more fat. Hard to say, but hang in there. Here is a link to one of my book reviews on the subject.

    Thanks for the reply to my post about not doing the Induction Phase of Atkins!

    It's always good to hear from people who are making low carbing a successful journey. I think I will try to keep my carbs around 50 or below for a couple of weeks and see if there is any weight loss. If not, I will go back and do the Induction Phase. And by then, I should be getting more use to less carbs anyway.
