I'm ready to work hard towards my 2013 goals !!!

This year my goal is to: Lose 50 Pounds Run/Walk Run/Walk a 10 K April 6,2013 (Cooper River Bridge Run Charleston,SC) Run/Walk the Space Coast Half 13.1 November 2013 Travel to Germany (My son is stationed there) Update August 18,2012 WOW it's been a while since I have SPARKED. I am back from an injury and ready to MOVE IT MORE!! Well I have decided to do the PRINCESS HALF. I live in Florida and a few years ago I was training for the Space Coast Half. My plans where set a side after being hit by a car while training. I choose the Princess Half because it is 187 days away and I will need all of that. My cardio is no where near what I need it to be and I have gained weight of course and would like to be lighter than what I am. A little about me I have a 18yr, Son that I am so so Proud of. He graduated this year, joined the ARMY and is in Boot Camp right now. LIFE IS GOOD as long as I turn it over to GOD each day!!! Update August 24,2010 I have been on Spark 3 months and it has been AWESOME. I have meet some great people. I am currently finishing my 10K training and I am starting this week 1/2 Marathon training. I am excited and nervous. My short term goal is to weigh 169 by year end and to be ready for my 1/2 marathon by Feb 2011. May 14,2010 I am so happy to have found this site. (Thanks Mom) I have been tracking my food & fitness in a journal the old fashion way and love the nutrition tracker what a great tool. I also added to track sodium and fiber and have been amazed at how fast sodium adds up !!! I love the fitness tracker for calories burned. I have been overweight all my life and have been on so many diets. Mostly low carb that work for a short time and then the pounds creep right back on. My journey started a little over a year ago and I realize it's not a diet anymore. It's a healthier life style in order to live longer and happier. So far 40 lbs gone Size 24 to 18 NO EXTENSION on the air plane Blood Pressure Normal Thanks Sparkguy for this wonderful website !!

My Program:
Treadmill Strength Train at gym 2 days a week for 60 min each time. With 60 min of cardio on Bike,Ellipical or Arch. Try to get at least 8 hours of exercise per week.
