Moving Away From ED
I am a senior in college now, but my freshman year the freshman 15 crept onto my athletic 5'2" build. My sophmore year (2nd semester) I went exercise/diet crazy and my weight went from 125 to 89 pounds. This lasted about a year. Then I gained it back through binging. Then I got mad and january of my junior year, I lost it all again (back down to 90 lbs.)! My sophmore year (2nd semester) I went exercise/diet crazy and my weight went from 125 to 89 pounds. This lasted about a year. Then I gained it back through binging. Then I got mad and january of my junior year, I lost it all again (back down to 90 lbs.)! In july/august this summer i went into an outpatient treatment program that helped for a while - they really would have kicked my eating disorder out of my life if I didn't insist on getting back to campus to start my senior year so quickly. ED came back quick. No, binging, resitricting, purging, over-exercising...it's all taking over my life. Gaining weight sucks - even if you are at a healthy weight, binging brings on unhealthy amounts of fat (it somehow just FEELS different than if gained at a reasonable pace!) I would say i am about 120 (maybe a little more) but in all honesty, I really don't want to know. I feel gross in my skin cause I am still binging. I am ready to kick ED's ass...FOR GOOD!
