One more One Last Time!

Ok, I am back - again!!!! I really like this site, but I get busy and since my network connection leaves something to be desired, before I know it, it's been months since I've check in. I am going to try and do better this time. I need to track my activity and food and this is the best place I have found to do that. Also, I need to start networking with people, I think that would help, too. I am 30+ pounds toward the 100# goal, so almost 1/3 of the way there. I hope to be there by the end of ...

My Goals:
I have three main goals:

1. Lose 100 #
2. Be more active
3. Be more aware of what
goes into my body.


My Program:
I have found that when I keep a diary of what I eat and the exercise I engage in, I am more aware of how I am progressing toward achieving my goal. So those two things will be a part of my program. I also hope to quit drinking pop and substitute water for it.

Personal Information:
I am a transplanted Texan to Missouri. I live on a farm after having lived the city girl life growing up. I would never go back to the city to live although I love to visit.

Other Information:
I am a just recently retired teacher who now has more time than I ever knew was possible to have. I am looking forward to dabbling in all my hobbies I've put on the back burner. I live on a farm, hence, the pics of my pretty calves.

Yep, I am still around, but I sure am not very consistent with coming here and logging things. I have been doing better the last two weeks so, hopefully, I will continue in that vein. It's just so hard sometimes, even thought you know what you want and you know how to get there - the here and now gets in the way!
Don't fret about what you've gained back, just get back on track and it will be gone and then some before you know it. I try to just take it a day at a time, then worry about eating right and exercising the next day when it comes.
Let's try and really get back in the swing of things. Spring will be here before we know it, and I have a pair of shorts that I really want to be able to get into by then. I have them hanging where I can see them every day when I get up - I am hoping they will provide some motivation. Goals and writing things down are the way to go - they really work - it's the consistency of it that I seem to fail on frequently - good luck - although luck has nothing to do with it -Let's both really try hard the rest of this month - set a goal and then reach for it - just make sure it's a reasonable and measurable goal. I will be thinking of you as I go through each day - WE CAN DO IT!!!!! emoticon
