I have felt bad about my weight for my whole life. Looking back on high school photos makes me so sad for that girl, because she was so not fat.

A couple years ago I managed to lose 20 pounds from my 211 high and have kept it off for 2 years. However, 185ish on a 5'2" frame is still WAAAAY too much weight.

I have no specific goals because no matter what goals I set, i never seem to achieve them. Plus, setting goals makes me feel more like i'm "on a diet" and not just changing my life. I've tried diets and programs and whatnot for too long. I know that would never work.

My Goals:
~ I want to enjoy my world.
~ I want to get in and out of my car without feeling like I need a shoehorn or an oxygen tank.
~I want to believe that a man could look twice at me because I look good and not because I'm such a disgusting cow.


My Program:
I am creating my own program using knowledge from the Curves diet, Bethenny Frankel's Naturally Thin book, and too much trial and error.

I have a bowl of multi grain cheerios every morning and a protein shake for lunch so I can walk at the gym. Evenings and sweets are my weakness. Sometimes I can figure a reasonably healthy supper, but I end up hungry again and get something to tide me through. I need enough structure to know what to eat when but enough variety to not get bored so fast as I usually do.

For exercise I am admitting defeat in DVDs. I hate them. I just plain hate them . I can do a 20 minute video on my roku if necessary, but I prefer movement. I've walked 25 minutes every work day at lunch for months. Since spring has sprung in Wisconsin I may start walking in the early morning to add to it. I'm also hoping to add a bit of biking and some strength training.

~Realized awhile ago that I've ALWAYS thought I was fat. See my photo album for proof. I was 115 in high school and wanted to lose my belly. What I wouldn't give to have that belly now!!!

    I love your goal to get on the Amazing Race! Now that is just emoticon ! Sugar cravings come from starving yeast, and systemic yeast infections don't mean you'll have the "girl-obvious" problems one would expect....

    Meat + Veggies + Fruit, though melons are not generally allowed, as they are typically moldy.

    Try an allergist. Today, 5 days later, and the mold and yeast spots on my arm are now huge. I'm using steroid cream to no effect. I will call my doc back on Monday. She has proven her case to me. The nut allergy really bums me out. I saw them as my "healthy snack." Oranges? Now I know why I had so much reflux. Chicken? Had nausea, but I tended to eat boneless, skinless breasts on salad, and I figured it was my body revolting to "all this bleepin' healthy stuff! Nope. It's the chicken. Looks like I'm into beef, checking out lamb soon, and ordering organic bison, too. We buy grass-raised, grass-finished, non-hormone, non-antibiotic no-grain, no-corn fed beef from a reputable place in Colorado. Comes out to $5.70 a pound for a combination of ground, steaks, roasts, and jerky. Have to buy 40 lbs at a time, though.
    She assures me--even weight gain is an inflammation of sorts with food allergies. We shall see! The truth will be in the scale. She said to stop counting calories and just 100% eliminate the sugar and all allergen foods.
