9/19/2013 - In 2010, I went from around 205 lbs to 150 lbs. I know that I owe a lot of that success to the tools, information and incredible support system I found here on SP.

Over the next 1 1/2 years, I struggled. I got a divorce; I gained back 20-30 pounds of weight I'd lost; I started to lose myself again.

Summer of 2012 brought the beginning of huge, positive, amazing changes to my life. Now, it's high time to get back to focusing on my health.

I've always been an emotional eater. Food was how I dealt with so many painful things in life, but that is all behind me now. I no longer have those stressors in my life - I got rid of them! It's time to be happy and healthy!

That means making better choices and doing what is good for me. I choose to eat healthy. I choose to exercise. I choose to feel good. I choose these things because I'm worth it!

My original goal was to get to 130 lbs and that's what I intend to do. I know what I need to do. I have everything I need to do it. Let's do this!

“The difference between stepping stones and stumbling blocks is not in the event itself but how you think about it and what you do after it.
Every failure and setback can become part of your success or an excuse for quitting or failing.
People who develop the discipline of positivity are both happier and more successful."

"Many things are simply not going to happen with just one, or three, or even a dozen attempts. Yet anything becomes possible with enough persistence.
Keep going, and allow your efforts to build upon one another. Keep going, and transform the disappointments into achievements.
You have what it takes to keep going, because all it ever takes is just one more step forward.
Keep going, and work your way steadily to the richest rewards you can imagine."
