I am a 32 year old working mother of 2. I make it a goal to run 5Ks to motivate myself to continue my healthy weight loss journey. My goal is to learn to live a healthy life without constantly feeling as if I am "dieting."

My Goals:
1. Get healthy so that I can live a long life.
2. Provide a good role model for my children.
3. Run a 5K in under 40 minutes.
4. Lose 50 pounds within the next year.
5. Meet new amazing people on this site! :)

My Program:
I work out 3-4 times a week on the elliptical and/or running outdoors.
I plan to continue completing 5K races...this forces me to train and run regularly (not my favorite thing, but it's growing on me!)

Thanks for adding me as your new emoticon . I'm truly impressed with your 5k times. They are great and keep up the good work. I'm still working on becoming a faster runner. I was running 3 days a week, but since last month I'm been a Zumbaholic. I will get back into my other exercises, however I just need to find balance to get them in. emoticon My goal for next year is to sign up for 12 races and train and run a half marathon. Keep going strong on your journey. emoticon
