Hello I am a 52 year old woman looking for a way to stay motivated and receive tips on learning a healthier lifestyle. Seems like the pounds just snuck up on me. I am wanting to post advise, tips, and motivational tools to move towards working at getting those extra pounds off.
Would love to meet some new faces and see what you do to motivate yourselves. This journey is going to be a rough one, as many times I am my worst enemy when it comes to change.

My Goals:
To become healthier. To feel good when passing a mirror or shopping for new clothes. To be able to keep up with my children and grandchildren. To Learn WATER is better for me then any other beverage. Learn to like club soda if I want the fizz. WALK, WALK, WALK, WALK,
did I mention WALK? Learn more about CLEAN EATING.... Staying out of the middle aisles at the grocery store.

My Program:
Wow keeping up with the plans when you fall away from the team for awhile can be tough. I am trying to learn how to eat cleaner and healthier still have issues when company comes falling back into old habits. I am looking into more and more going raw during the week. It seems to be something that sounds easy to maintain, along with a bottle of beano for awhile that is. I have dusted off the ole pedometer and plan to purchase a treadmill with income tax refund, my treat to me. I am reading more and watching less television as well. Seems I snack when watching tv more then anytime.

You CAN do this! You are at a great place "Spark People". I'm new to this site but find the people motivating and encouraging. WALK WALK WALK.... I'd like to suggest you try walking, BRISKLY, regularly... it may not sound too tough but it does boost the burning and helps us lose some lbs. Good Luck as you start moving toward your goals and dreams...

I tried to make your picture without success. I think you have to use a photo program to cut down the size of the picture. Personalyl I think it is good size.
