Progressing Toward a Healthier & Smaller Version of Me!!!

Well I'm back after 2 years. Going to try to focus on making the right food choices for a better body image! ~ 9/27/13

I'm doing a low carb, high fat, moderate protein daily intake of food. Am tracking my food (the good & bad) daily. The pounds are coming off & my body mass is shrinking! I feel better mentally & physically!

4/1/14 ~ Feeling better, happier each day. My friends are overjoyed to see this new positive person slowly emerging!

6/13/14 ~ Love how I am feeling. Enjoying life and laughing more. Weight loss (57 lbs gone) is really noticeable now. People who know me when I was heavier~ now don't recognize me unless they take a 2nd look.

7/4/14 ~ Maintaining my current weight loss & enjoying the summer. Swimming in the lake and being outdoors.

Thank you so much for posting such good information on my page about the Great Lakes Gelatin. emoticon
I did read one of your posts from the Paleo Diet group, that's how I found your page.
I did a search on Spark using Great Lakes Gelatin, and one of the options to click on was one of your posts.
I'm 57 year old woman and I've been having joint problems, which is making it difficult to exercise. emoticon
Making my own gelatin/bone broth is helping, and I will still incorporate that into my family's diet, but have realized I need more protein (wow,great lakes has protein) and also want to start my family on the gelatin, so definitely need to purchase some.
The bone broth I make is great to freeze. It really heals a sore throat and flu too, but it isn't easy to keep enough for every day.
Good luck on your journey, you've come a long way already. emoticon

I recently found out about Great Lakes Gelatin and ordered a green label yesterday.
I've been making my own broth by cooking a whole chicken in the crockpot.
Can't wait for my gelatin to get here.
If you have time, have you noticed any changes in your health?

I'm really glad you told me to check out Stephanie Person's YouTube videos. She looks amazing, especially for 46. If I hadn't seen her and I didn't have a friend that has been eating low carb for a while and looks incredible too, I would have freaked out when I saw recent video of Jimmy Moore, and realized that his weight is still a struggle for him, even though he wrote the book. :(.

How was your week? Are you curreny doing the 21 day keto kick start or have you been eating low carb for awhile? I'm going to try to finish reading the book today and figure out how to mix this new style with my W30. Thanks for sharing. I never would have read Keto Clarity without your recommendation.
