Have I really been battling these ten pounds for ten years??? Yes, I cannot believe it has been that long. I have tried everything from Spark to the Lemonade diet. I've spent countless hours in the gym, logged mile after mile, and chopped and blended veggies until my compost bin began to bulge. But I never, cut out the sugar and the alcohol and the over eating.
I'm here to count, to track and to pay attention to those goals. I went to a fitness assement at the gym this week and was pretty much told that I am overweight, borderline obese. I walked out of there in shock at this analysis. Why didn't my best friend tell me? Or my husband? Did they not notice? Either way...it's time to face reality and back away from those cookies and beers and focus on my health.

My Goals:
Goal 1:
By April 1st
~ 148 Lbs
~Run 5 miles at once
Plan
~Wait 30 min after entering the house before I eat.
~ Focus on my food. This means sitting down for breakfast, turning off the computer at lunch, and not eating dinner in my car on the way home or clean the kitchen and eating dinner at the same time.
~Log miles, get up and workout! The dog is overweight, too!


My Program:
EATING CLEAN
....in other words; avoid alcohol, dairy, wheat and of course meat.
Overload on Vegetables and eat a few pieces of fruit everyday.
Keep the calories between 1200-1500.
Keep the system flushed with water, vitamins, herbal teas and DIRT.

UTILIZE WORKOUTS maximum benefit on lunch breaks for strength training, utilize the time between work and kids for cardio (instead of my favorite time to binge)
CARDIO 6 Xs a week
YOGA/PILATES 5 Xs a week
STRENTH 3 Xs a week
STREACH every day
SIT UP STRAIGHT and SUCK IN THAT GUT while I sit for hours on end at a desk.

STAY FOCUSED
Log everything I eat.
Save up for calories if I know I am going to a party or work function.
Do not indulge in more than one drink because this equals lack of self will when it comes to the food.
Don't give up; stay with it.
STAY POSITIVE
Keep God at the center of everything I do.
Focus, meditate.

I am from Spokane, Wa. Born here and love it! Two healthy happy children that are the center of my Universe. I love getting exercise, hiking, fishing, camping, practicing yoga.


Other Information:
If you can handle the pain of fifty bicycle crunches, you can handle the hunger pain of waiting until your next meal.
