While I'm a not-so-newlywed anymore (3 years this May), I am still looking to shed the weight I meant to for my wedding -- and then some! With an early anniversary cruise just around the corner, I'm determined to meet my goal weight so I can finally feel good in a bikini.

My Goals:
I want to be in prime health so that I can keep up with my career, house, puppy, and prepare for children! This means I really need to increase my stamina and strength.

My Program:
I am working with my husband to create a program that we both can follow, even with our different diets (I am a vegetarian, leaning vegan, and he is not). This means romantic walks on the beach (with or without the dogs) for cardio, and perhaps a race to see who can reach his/her goal fastest.

Personal Information:
I'm a professor, avid reader, lover of languages, wife to Nick and animal-mommy to Minnie (German Shepherd), Molly (lab mix) and Chiquita (sassy African Grey parrot).

Other Information:
I used to be a ballerina, but stopped in college. Have suffered tendinitis in my Achilles tendon, sprained my back saving a younger sister in the ocean, and have had head surgery. Needless to say, my Chiropractor is my best friend.

Dude, totally mentioned you in my most recent blog (I have two blog entires so far, lol). I mentioned the thing you said about me being vegetarian/vegan for three weeks, and how even though it was like duh, it was also something I didn't really think about. :P
