I noticed one of your post on trainers in training. You said you had no previous education and have not had any time spent with a personal trainer. I am in the same boat. Could you tell me how you are going about to learn to be a personal trainer?
I started the first of a three day course which the gym I belong to has for those who want to become a personal trainer. I was at a complete loss today. The anamatical positions, muscles,joints and motions were all foriegn material to me. I can't even pronounce much less communicate the names and functions. Any suggestions on retaining this information from you would be helpful if you have got to this point in your studies?

Thanks for adding me as a friend.
I can relate to alot of what you say on your sparkpage. I had an eating disorder in my twenties. It's wonderful to be free to pursue fitness in healthy, balanced ways.
I, too, am pursuing certification this year as a personal trainer.
We'll have to keep eachother posted on the progress!
