You are about where I am. I have lost about 20 lbs total, but have not weighed myself lately. I just started walking this last weekend after being unable to get to my routine. I will get back on track cause I know that it is the best thing that I can do for my body...physically, mentally, and spiritually! I will add you as a friend if you would like. We can keep up with how each are doing. BTW I am in the health field too... 2202 days ago
Thank you so much for your comment. I'm of the opinion that it doesn't matter how old you are, how small or big you are, short or tall - you are entitled to look and feel good, regardless of what the world around us thinks. ;)
And realistically, you are right! The Average North American Woman isn't a size 4, isn't a size 6, she's a 14! I'm fighting a battle with a Direct Selling company I work for (Stella & Dot, as a hobby) to get them to start making rings in larger sizes as well as bracelettes and cuffs. The average woman doesnt' have a wrist the size of a toddler anymore! :) 2264 days ago
Thanks for reading my blog. I really am still pretty much retired. I was lucky to be able to retire at 53, so semi-retirement at 54 is still a good deal. I just work 8 -10 hours a week doing QAPI. I went in today for about an hour because I had to leave early yesterday. The atmosphere was much different. There are two people in the office who have a love-hate relationship. When the hate cycle flares up things can get a little tense. Luckily one of these people actually work in a different office, so when she's not there things quiet down considerably.
