Well, it's been almost two months, and I've lost 5 lbs. I'm still following the diet plan. I have been keeping my calories below 1500, (except that one time I ate out twice in one day). It's not really hard, just kinda different. I haven't really gotten an attack of hunger. It is difficult in 95+ weather and over 70% humidity to get much excercise, though. 3136 days ago
I love your ideas for batch cooking. I used the same ingredients to make soup. I call it chicken ran through it. I also added lots of veggies that would be good for my husband to eat. He would balk at them if they were set on a plate. But, in a bowl of soup he would eat them.
I have not made much soup this year as I tend to make too much. My last had kale in it. I loved it.
I have been following the Spark food plan designed for me for four weeks now, and my blood glucose numbers have been MUCH better, but I've gained four pounds. I've also been extremely sedentary for ten years since a back injury, but I've been setting a goal for myself of at least 15 minutes a day of cardio excercise of some sort, and more than 75% of the time I've been actually getting over 30 minutes. My chief excercises in this beginning stage are walking, gardening, and lawn mowing. I've been doing a LOT more sweating than I'm used to 3167 days ago
