Losing the Weight, Gaining a Healthy Life

Hola! I'm Amanda from Southern Minnesota. I'm a 19 year old community college girl, where I'm at the moment I'm working on the program for Liberal Arts and Science Associates degree- hoping to move onto a four year college to get a degree in Anthropology (or a degree in a smaller field of anthropology).

Hola! I'm Amanda from Southern Minnesota. I had first joined Sparks when I was 16, to try to get to a healthier weight for a Costa Rica trip in March 2011. I did end up losing 12 pounds that summer, but the next two years I went on and off sparks and ended up gaining the weight back the weight and plus some.

The heaviest I have been is 254, a weight that I was very uncomfortable with my 5' 11 height. It wasn't till this past Spring that I had finally gotten back into the 230s by myself with the help with medication to help stable my moods. Now for quite a few weeks I have been seeing the scale turn back the wrong way, achieve my goal of being in the 200s by the time I turn twenty I have come back to get the support and tools back that have always helped before.

I walk a few days a week almost 16 mins to and from my local library, with a big hill to go down and up (bright side of not having internet),

Trying to figure out what goals I should measure out, such as eating habits to practicing Pilates.

I'm from Southern Minnesota.
My hobbies are: writing, reading, Sims (2 and 3)

Welcome back. Just take one day at a time. Don't let it overwhelm you. Set small goals you know you can reach quickly...and celebrate when you reach them. (but not with food) emoticon
